Sunghyun Shin holds a Bachelor of Science (or Bachelor’s) degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from the University of North Carolina where he is also pursuing his JD.  Prior to law school, Mr. Shin worked as a mechanical engineer at Zachary Group, an engineering, procurement, and construction firm that builds industrial facilities. His experience calculating mechanical physics and fluid dynamics to determine proper specifications of piping, equipment, pipe supports and fittings combined with his passing of the Principles and Practice of Engineering Mechanical Exam (PE Exam) provides him with strong technical knowledge and expertise.

During law school, Mr. Shin also served as a law clerk for the North Carolina Supreme Court. Mr. Shin is fluent in Korean.
