The New Patent Frontier under the America Invents Act Has Arrived: File Early, File Often, or Just Stay Home?

The final, and perhaps most substantial, piece of the America Invents Act (“AIA”) was implemented in March of 2013, with the first-to-file rules for new patent applications coming into effect in the United States.
