Overview

Brandon Furdock is skilled in preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications. Clients benefit from his research and industrial experience in computer engineering, particularly in the areas of computer software, machine learning, and semiconductor fabrication.  Outside of these technologies, Mr. Furdock has also worked with some of the world’s largest patenting entities across the mechanical and biomedical arts.

Mr. Furdock is passionate about technology, and enjoys sharing his technical knowledge. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Northwestern University, where he specialized in machine learning and data science. At Northwestern, he was part of a research team that developed machine learning models for video summarization in embedded and memory-constrained systems.  As a researcher, Mr. Furdock explored various GPU memory optimization techniques. As a teaching assistant, he developed a parallel computing laboratory curriculum for graduate students.  Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Furdock developed a machine learning based oral argument preparation tool and other innovative legal tools for an Am Law 100 law firm.

Outside of work, Mr. Furdock enjoys outdoor activities such as rock and ice climbing. He feels these activities help him stay energized and focused in all aspects of his life.
